This is a first year Little Blue Heron. For the first year of the little blue's life they are white. This is so they can blend in with snowy and great egrets for some added protection from predators. This is why we kept seeing this guy close to those two Great Egrets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Blue_Heron
