oh ok lol yea i was surprised to see it although ive never seen any nesting
I just meant that the only times I've seen adult common snappers is when a female is crossing a road, digging a nest, or caught in a turtle net during a biological survey. It's cool to see one just hanging out on a log in the water.
wait thats not what this one was doing was it? i cant even distinguish the sex
It's neat to see one out of the water but not just a female out on the turf going to or coming from laying eggs.
haha!! i thought it was a snapper. thing was huge for our area. thx guys.
