Description:

I've never seen a widow in person before and I never expected to see one walking my kids home from school! But this guy was just sitting in its web and although the mark on its abdomen was more orange than red it sure looks like an hour glass to me. Luckily I've been teaching my very curious and tactile learners not to touch animals unless they are %100 sure they are safe. Especially here in Texas.
