Field Notes

Description:

Predatory bird with white heads and a distinctive black eyestripe that goes down the side of their faces. Have curved claws and padded fish to help them grab fish easier and then carry them over long distances if needed to.

Habitat:

Wekiva river.

Notes:

Conservation status : Least concern. Fish make up 99% of the Osprey's diet.

Awesome I didn't know that you got a great shot of that guy we kept fallowing him down the river. Every turn we saw him for a second I kept missing him. Nice shot!
