Description:

Shell, half of a bivalve. 2" wide. Dark redish brown in colour, with blotches of gold, very clear pattern when wet as in image 2. Image 3 is of the inside.

Habitat:

Found in undergrowth near a wetland area. Approximately 1km inland from the coast.

Notes:

Freshwater bivalve?
