Description:

This beetle was quite common. It has eight yellow dots on the back, the first (basal) two pairs are sometimes continuous as in this example.

Habitat:

On flowering tea tree

Notes:

This species differs from Castarina parallela by having a continuous lateral yellow line along the edge.
