Description:

The Kentucky Coffee tree, a deciduous species, can grow up to to 70 feet with a trunk of 3 feet. This tree is moderately fast at growing, with healthy trees living up to 150 years. Its leaves are alternate, bipinnately compound, ten to fourteen pinnate. Its fruits are six to ten inches long and somewhat curved. The Kentucky Coffee tree is widely dispersed, but considered rare in some places.

Habitat:

It is found commonly throughout its native region, the midwest.
