Description:
Tall plant with large, oval leaves. Clusters of pinkish flowers grow from some of the joints where the leaf stem meets the plant stem. This native wildflower produces a white latex when damaged. There were several of these growing along the side of the oncology office where I was receiving chemotherapy this summer.
Habitat:
Suburban area along the side of a building.
