Description:

This is a particularly large skipper with unusually pointed wings. Under-wings sports a spot of orange on the fore-wing and the diagnostic white spot on the hind-wing as shown in the photo. The upper side of the wing is dusky with the orange spot on the fore-wing being tannish.

Habitat:

Grasslands with caterpillars generally found on locust trees.
