Field Notes

Description:

male to the left, female right and bufflehead behind. Similar to the scaups, but easily identified by the "rings" on the bill. The faint ring on the neck can only be seen on close inspection

Habitat:

redman pond, Bandon

Notes:

Great place for spottings. It can appear empty but as you wait, the ducks emerge
