Field Notes

Description:

Hard to spot and define, this nudibranch has a brown translucent body with finely branched papillate cerate that mimics algae. The oral hood is just about visible on the left.

Habitat:

Sandy bottom ~15m

Notes:

If it weren't for my hawk-eyed dive guide, I wouldn't have even spotted this as an animal, let along a nudibranch!
