Description:

Philaethria is a genus of New World butterflies of the subfamily Heliconiinae in the family Nymphalidae.

Philaethria are often confused with Siproeta stelenes. They have similar coloration, but their wing shapes are different.

Habitat:

Seen in an enclosure in Mawamba lodge
