Field Notes

Description:

large, day flying moth

Habitat:

monsoon forest

Notes:

I spotted a few of these, but only on one trail in Alas Purwo national park. I followed this one for a while. It kept landing high up on trees or on the underside of leaves. I was able to get underneath it for a bit without it flying off.
