Unknown Spotting ( Spider And Prey )

I went into the garage at 7:00 a.m. in the morning, to take the garbage out. I spotted a spider, that had built a web, on one side of the garbage can, and about six inches, off the garage floor. This one spider, had a prey insect, lying on the garage floor, right below the spiders web. This prey insect, had expired. This spider, is alive.
