Description:

This beautiful bird was visiting the Statue of Liberty the same day we were. I couldn't resist taking his portrait. I am just not sure if he is a crow, raven, grackle or another kind altogether. Help anyone?

Thanks everyone - The grackles where I live are not this vivid or colorful. They are a messy nuisance bird here. This one is beautiful

I'm leaning toward grackle, although I suppose he could be a brewer's bb. A full shot of the tail for length would help with the ID
