Field Notes

Notes:

This sweet little bird was industriously collecting bits and pieces for its nest in the aviary at Tamworth Marsupial Park. Thanks to Liam & AnnaWhipkey for their assistance in identifying this as a leucistic (lacking pigmentation) Zebra Finch. Added to the Rare Colour Morphs mission.

Liam and AnnaWhipkey - thanks so much for your help! I have updated the details and added him to the Rare Colour Morphs mission. Harsuame - thank you for the compliment. : )
Yeah, a leucistic Zebra Finch. They have all sorts of various mutations in captivity that look similar to this, but in Australia it's much more likely an aberrant bird. I agree that you should add it the Rare Color Morphs misison.
leucistic coloration, you could add it to rare colormorphs mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7970027
