Description:

Sumatran Surili or Mitred Leaf Monkey, locally known as Simpai. This subspecies is the Yellow-handed Mitered Langur. Seen throughout the Kerinci area, but this photo was taken in the Bento Swamps, Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Notes:

Sumatran Surili vary widely in color across Sumatra, depending on the region.
