Field Notes

Description:

So I came across this tree while trying to locate a known grove of bristlecone pines up at high elevation in Great Basin National Park.. took a picture, hoping it was a bristlecone, but I don't know. Anyone able to tell by this picture alone? I just uploaded pictures of another tree that I know is a bristlecone, at Cedar Breaks National Monument

Habitat:

High elevations in Great Basin National Park, eastern Nevada
