Description:

There were several of these swallows at the park. Adult males are bright iridescent blue-green above with white underparts.

Habitat:

Spotted in a wetland at Flaming Geyser State Park.

Thank you Tukup. They arrive in Washington State in March and most will leave by mid-August with a few that may stay till September.
That's a beautiful little bird Brian. My sister lives in Auburn. I'm going to have to see if I can find one next time out there. I see Cornell says they start migrating south in July or August. That seems awfully early. Do you know the months you see them around there?
