Field Notes

Description:

Gross-looking. Thought it was a leech at first, but it has no latching/sucking thing, and it has little hair-like things on one end. Moves by lengthening and contracting its body to push itself forward. About an inch and a half long when stretched out (yes, I should invest in a ruler and also use cm). Found in wet leaves in creek, where there are tons of flies (many kinds of diptera).

Habitat:

Small creek, in some leaves in running water
