Field Notes

Description:

Fluffy seedhead. It was nearly winter, so there were no leaves left on this plant. It was some type of annual but I know ID could be difficult with just the seedhead.

Habitat:

meadow, temperate forest

Notes:

I spotted this at Foping National Nature Reserve. I only saw a couple plants in flower. Most were dead or in seed like this one.
