Description:
Dark metallic blue flies of about 4 mm in length, mating end to end. Family Lauxaniidae. The mating position seems to be unusual for this family and maybe one just fell to the side.
Habitat:
Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
