Field Notes

Description:

I believe this is a baby spider. There were about 20 of them who made their way into our kitchen when we had the back door open. They were quite fast. I helped them get back outside. They had come in on a warm day.

Ah, OK, you should try to put all details like that in the description, every little bit of information helps. Another tip, if you crop the picture before posting the organism will appear larger on peoples screens. They are best cropped to between 600 and 1200 pixels because our program automatically reduces the displayed pictures to around 600 pixels anyway.
I assumed it was a baby because there are about 20 of them in the same area. So I thought maybe they are babies who have hatched and are now exploring :)
It might be a baby but some adults can be very small also. Some in the Patu genus are only 0.3mm body length.
