Field Notes

Description:

A large scavenger bird with it's distinctive red head feeding on another bird's corpse.

Habitat:

The turkey vulture lives around the whole continent, but this one was seen in the beaches of the pacific coast of Mexico.

Notes:

As we crossed through the dessert, before arriving to the coast, you could see large groups of this birds flying over something, surly a dying animal. The imaged seemed so kitsch I completely forgot how macabre it actually was.

Thank you all, I thought I should include the carrion he was feeding on in the series.
Thank you Luis, I had some troubles with the uploading tool, but now I uploaded the whole series, including his meal!
