I appreciate your input, dandoucette. I'm sorry if my method of researching flowers offends you. I will fill in the blanks when I have more time on my hands. I just take pictures of things that I am interested in learning about, accept suggestions from fellow Noah members, and research the varieties from there. I will continue this method because it works well for me. After I've posted it on Noah I can refer back to it to study. I'm not racing anyone. Just enjoying my surroundings and resources fully. ;0)
Alice is right with the ID. I just want to say BluberryLiLi, it would be great if you could take some time with your spottings and add more to the descriptions and where you saw it. Noah is not a race! Many of your recent flower spottings are very common garden plants that can be found in any flower gardening book or online gardening site with minimal research.
These are called Straw flowers because you can remove the heads and put them on wire for inside bouquets all winter.
