Thanks Ashley, I grew up with these every winter in Scotland, couldn't believe it might be something else
It's a European robin. This user has many incorrect spottings and has not updated them, so not sure we will ever get a response as to whether this was actually in Maryland or not. No other species it can be though
I know that Jellis, but it cannot be anything else surely?
Which Robin? European ones are not found in the US. I looked on ebird and none that I can see have been reported in Maryland. This is too small to be an American Robin.
How about an Eastern Bluebird
That is odd. Unless this is a rare bird or this was not taken in Maryland.
Where was this image taken? The European Robin is not found in the United States.
