Description:

This fly was almost 2 cms long and golden colored with green eyes. Found it on a hibiscus leaf in my neighbor's garden. It was surprisingly patient and didn't fly off when I was getting photos. Since then I've seen it resting on leaves, but haven't seen it feed on anything.
