Field Notes

Description:

This is by far the largest grasshopper I've seen in Hong Kong.
This guy is around 7cm long while normal grasshoppers in the area is around 2cm long. I have no idea what species this is.

Habitat:

I found it next to a campsite restroom. The campsite is surrounded by dense trees and grass.

Notes:

Photos taken by phone. Didn't have my camera with me :(
