Per Jae's ID below, this could be a horse chestnut. Since it is in an arboretum with exotic varieties, it could also be another type of chestnut, but I'll go with Jae's suggestion.

Habitat:

In University of Wisconsin Arboretum, but may be a local species

Notes:
