I forget sometimes too! It looks a bit like horse's hoof fungus to me apart from the white rim... So I'm confused

I don't, unfortunately. Still new at photographing fungus, and it didn't occur to me at the time to look underneath (and I'm pretty sure I can't find my way back, I was lost in the woods at the time).
