Beach Spider Lily

Hymenocallis littoralis

I really enjoy these flowers. My mother had a very large specimen with rather broad leaves. And there's a native plant gowing in our hammocks called the streambank spider lily. The differences in the flowers are often subtle but can be dramatic: http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/hymenocallis,spiderlily/Interesting. This one may be the Caribbean spider lily, Hymenocallis caribaea.
