Description:
The Maple tree has a rounded shape when its leaves come are in. It can get up to 65-70 feet tall. The tree is originally native to Canada. It's importance is to produce maple syrup.
Habitat:
This tree can grow in a wide variety of soils, generally in most deciduous forests. Often the Maple is found near moist areas such as steams valleys and ravines where water can drain. It can survive in shade for semi long periods of time as well.
