Anhinga

Somes called a water turkey. Only turkeylike superficially. The anhinga is a cormorant-like sharp-billed bird with a dark chocolate body, silver wings and a chocolate-tan breast and neck. Anhingas hunt by swimming underwater where there spear fish, often tossing them into the air to swallow them. Anhingas are often observed beside waterways with their wings outstretched to dry in the sun, as they lack enough oil on their feathers to keep them dry.
