Description:

The Apache Plume is a desert beauty! The flowers are actually white in color, the pink plumes that are shown in photo are actually seed heads that contain a seed at its base. The feathery plumes are dispersed gracefully by desert winds.

Habitat:

Shrubby desert plain, southern New Mexico.
