Field Notes

Description:

Apple trees at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Park keeps a small orchard at the homestead display at the Visitor Center. The trees had no fruit.

We are working on the Cherokee Language Learning Mission. We will post Cherokee language ids in the Notes section and we will link to Cherokee language material on the posts we submit.

Habitat:

Help me out here - what is the habitat for the apple tree? Probably pretty extensive.
