Thanks for your nice comments, Sergio, Jolly, Deepti and Dilan. I think these are attractive spiders but wish they wouldn't suspend their webs across trails. Somehow they always seem to be just at my face height and if I'm not looking ahead, I get a sticky mess on my face. ;)
Great spotting, Maria. Verrucosa spiders I've seen here either have a black or brown body.
