Field Notes

Description:

This adolescent baboon(1-3) reminded us of teen-agers and their angst(No, I can't go on!) Getting no recognition(photo 2) from the rest of the troop(of about 50 odd baboons) who were doing their own thing(4-6) he flopped back down hoping someone would take pity on him! We joked that he was hoping one of the many game vans would run him over, but it didn't seem like such a joke.

Habitat:

Chobe park

Notes:

This was the end of the day and the animals seem to know that within minutes the vans would be out of the park
