Description:

Ball pythons , also known as python regius, have long slick bodies with black and green patterns across their body.

Habitat:

Ball pythons are not just known for living in trees. They are also found in grasslands and savannas. They are commonly found in Africa.

Notes:

Ball pythons can grow to an average length of about 2-5 feet and can weigh as mush as 5 pounds. The feed mostly on mice and small rodents, but are also known for eating other reptiles and amphibians.
