Ballyhoo

Unfortunately this one was washed up on shore in the early morning. There had just been a massive feeding frenzy (I tried to capture a video and my phone died, I'm still kicking myself). Anyway, a school of large predatory fish (I think Jacks) were driving a school of small fish all along the length of the beach and keeping them pressed against the shore. The panicked fish were jumping out of the water onto the sand where they were quickly eaten by a huge flock of sea birds that was following the action. It was spectacular. (the last photo shows this a little) Anyway, this guy was left behind perhaps too large for the birds.
