Field Notes

Description:

These barnacles are growing on a rock. There are hundreds of them. Some seaweed is growing on the rock too. The barnacles are white, but some have yellow. They look like little volcanoes. They feel rough when I touch them.

Habitat:

These barnacles live on a rock in a tidepool.

Notes:

I wonder what barnacles taste like! I wonder if any creature eats them.
