Description:

Common butterfly, about 45-50 mm wingspan.

Habitat:

Common in moderate elevations, in valleys near irrigated fields between 1200 and 2700 m. On wing from March to September and December to January. Known to migrate between altitutes. LHP: Lepidium verginicum, Linnaeus.
