Scarabaeidae, Cetoniinae, Flower Beetle. Now I have a little problem you may help to sort it out. There is a Glycyphana stolata from India, IDed by a Indian insect lover ("insect literacy" as profession on the flickr profile), so this guy seems to know what he is talking about. But I have my doubts about this ID. BioLib has the same picture IDed as Cetoniinae cf. Glycyphana stolata, which is actually a common flower beetle from Australia called Brwon Flower Beetle. This one looks in my eyes completely different from yours or the other Glycyphana stolata. So I think this ID might be not correct or not precise enough. Glycyphana sp. might be a hint, but I couldn't find any species or similar one on research. What do you think??
Definitely the same one, but is ID really correct??
