Field Notes

Habitat:

I found it in my recycle bin.

Notes:

I found it in the late afternoon. Seemed lethargic, maybe overheated and dehydrated. I misted with water and it perked up for it, then drank from the pool that formed from the misting next to it. Contacted www.savelucythebat.org and they suggested I move it to a box that you can see in the picture. It crawled out to chill under the railing of the deck. In the morning it was gone so I feel good that it was able to recuperate.

Thanks for doing such a good rescue!!
Hello aaronboutin Welcome to Project Noah. This is a site dedicated to wildlife; so you can share photos that you have taken of wildlife and engage with the PN community. Please do not take photos from the Internet or from others without permission. Please also try not to post photos of your pets or other domesticated animals. You have a WONDERFUL story to go with your first spotting. In case, later...for other spottings you do not know the name of the species you have photographed I am sure someone will be around soon to help you ID the spotting. In case you agree with the suggestion, you can use the Edit this Spotting Option to fill in the boxes and complete the spotting. Enjoy the site. Keep posting. Have fun. See you around. Welcome, again. And thank you for taking such good care of the poor bat.
