Thakn for the ID help
Agree with you Bayucca. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Saimiri_sciureus-1_Luc_Viatour.jpg
Not a spider monkey, but a squirrel monkey. I first thought it is the Common Squirrel Monkey, but I now think it is the Black-capped Squirrel Monkey, Saimiri boliviensis and the Peruvian subspecies Saimiri boliviensis peruviensis. These might be younger ones. I must admit that the ID of this 2 cool guys was more tricky than some of the tricky butterflies. I hope my ID is correct!?? What do you think??
Great spotting! This would be an excellent addition for the Morphed Organism ID mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/11489152
