My bad... Rhagades pruni is pretty close, as for colour, but the proboscid in my moth is orange... so, I'll keep looking.
Thanks Ashish! Looks like it is in the familly of Zygaenoidea but it's not Harrisina metallica, the wings and the abdomen is very different, I don't have pictures of the abdomen but I've seen it and it's nothing like H. metallica. I did find a moth that looked a lot like this one, it's supposed to be a Rhagades pruni, here is the link: http://www.insects.at/view.php?img=Lepidoptera/Zygaenoidea/Zygaenidae/Procridinae/Rhagades_pruni_A_0602C.jpg but the description of the species doesn't fit. In general the moths of the Acoloithus genus look a lot like this one, Acoloithus falsarius being pretty close. There's an Acoloithus totusniger found on Colima Volcano in Mexico, but it's just named in some places, but I can't find any description or further refference. Do you think I could settle for Acoloithus sp.? You've taken me a long way with your suggestions.
Any possibility of related to following...? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrisina_metallica
Look to be member of Zygaenoidea family..
