Notes:

A black widow... was reported in a container that arrived at the international sea port... I had to quarantine it... and of course, later destroy it... :-/

nice maneuvering! nice spider! as I recall, it's venom is highly toxic, great spotting! a little careful though
@AnnaDango... i wouldn't call myself that brave... hehe... after all, these shots were taken AFTER getting them into a tray.... Took us a good couple of minutes to use some sticks and stuff to maneuver them into it... :P
Mayb KarenL... i found about 4 of these in a cargo container that was carrying lumber.... there was a spider web inside as well...
Very interesting! This has the classic red "hourglass" but the abdomen isn't bulbous & shiny like a typical black widow. Maybe this one is dehydrated.
