Field Notes
Description:
This shiny ble fly was about 10mm long with 4 black stripes on the thorax. The large brown eyes had only a thin line of separation.
Habitat:
Near a suburban garden - resting on a hand rail on a ramp.
Notes:
Had features of a tachinid, blowfly and flesh fly but I am hoping its none of those. It was resting in an awkward spot making it difficult for clearer photos.
Have only done a partial search for an ID..
