Field Notes

Description:

A dark gray goose with a triangle pattern on the top of the neck.

Habitat:

It breeds on the tundras in North America and Asia, and winters on coastal areas on the respective continents.

Notes:

A rare find in the Texas panhandle, but we do get one every few years.
