The Bronzed Tiger Beetle is a tiger beetle with distinctive markings. It is often found on the sandy shores of streams and rivers. They catch their prey through high-speed chases rather than by acting stealthily.

Habitat:

Spotted on a sandy shore along the Ouachita River in Arkansas.
