Field Notes

Description:

A rotund brown bug featuring a large scutellum extending to the entire length of the abdomen but leaving a gap on the sides. There are three endemic species and two genera in this family.
This one has a light mark on each side.

Habitat:

Under bark of River Redgum.

Notes:

ALA has eight records for this entire family and this is the first for Victoria.
